Nephilim Protector protecting the vessels of Everblight
Nephilim Protectors are Nephilim shaped from birth to protect the warlocks of the Legion from harm. The Nehphilim continue to evolve under Everblight’s watchful eye, proving themselves an efficient breed. Their ability to wield arms while retaining the assets of draconic blood makes them ideal soldiers. Everblight has refined the process of their creation and is now able to sustain Nyss incubators through several births. While the dragon’s forces developed spawning vats to gestate nephilim in even greater numbers, the dragon continued to expand the creatures’ function and exploit their adaptability. [1]
Since the battle at the Castle of the Keys, the importance of spawning this expression of nephilim has only increased. Though the gains the dragon made in this struggle were clearly worth the risk, exposing so many of his warlocks to potential destruction came to greatly trouble Everblight. After all, dividing his athanc among multiple generals enhances his own chances of survival only so long as those hosts endure. Thus, the dragon developed the nephilim protectors to help ensure the warlocks’ safety.Protectors unerringly follow an instinctive imperative to guard Everblight’s generals and will dive into harm’s way without hesitation or concern for their individual lives. Requiring no rest and never experiencing mental fatigue, protectors stay constantly alert for danger, ever wary of their surroundings in the interest of their charges.[1]
